MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> DECEMBER 18, 2017 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on December 18th at 5:30 pm at the <br /> Municipal Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh presided over the meeting. Utility Billing <br /> Manager Nick Baxter gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the following Councilmembers <br /> answered present; Chris Beller, Tommy Bryant, Margaret Henley, Paige Hubbard, Doug <br /> Matthews, Chris Poole and David Shetron. Also present were the City Clerk Denise <br /> Johnston and City Attorney Tim Meitzen. Councilmember Sonya Crafton was absent. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting. Councilmember Shetron seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the prepared agenda. Councilmember <br /> Shetron seconded and all voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENT <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> A) SECOND READING OF AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE BATESVILLE <br /> ZONING CODE REGARDING PLANNED DEVELOPMENT <br /> A proposed ordinance to amend the Batesville Zoning Code regarding planned <br /> development was considered for the second reading. Councilmember Bryant <br /> moved to read the ordinance by title only. Councilmember Shetron seconded <br /> and the electronic roll count was 7 for and 0 against. Mr. Meitzen read the <br /> ordinance by title only. Councilmember Shetron moved to suspend the third and <br /> final reading and Councilmember Bryant seconded. The electronic roll call count <br /> was 7 for and 0 against. Councilmember Bryant moved to adopt the ordinance <br />
