Containing 13.40 acres, more <br />I <br />or less; and <br />WHEREAS, the owners of said property have requested the <br />rezoning of said Tract A from R-1 residential zoning to R-2 <br />;residential zoning; and <br />WHEREAS, the owners of said property have requested the <br />rezoning of said Tract B from R-1 residential zoning to C-lA <br />commercial zoning; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing <br />on such request, after proper notice having been published in the <br />manner and for the time required by law; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Batesville, <br />Arkansas, has received a recommendation from the Planning <br />Commission that said Tract A be rezoned from R-1 residential to <br />R-2 residential, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Batesville, <br />Arkansas, has received a recommendation from the Planning <br />Commission that said Tract B be rezoned from R-1 residential to <br />C -IA commercial; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the recommendation <br />of the Planning Commission should be accepted and the property <br />be rezoned, <br />BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED that the real property described <br />herein as Tract A be rezoned from R-1 residential to R-2 <br />residential and that Tract B be rezoned from R-1 residential to <br />C-lA commercial and that this ordinance be published one time in <br />!a newspaper having a general circulation in the City of.
