EM <br />i <br />BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS <br />NO. 9 y <br />AN ORDINANCE ZONING PART OF THE <br />SWI-, SEI-,, §16 and PART OF THE NW-, NE-,, §21, T13N, R6W <br />WHEREAS, The Planning Commission for the City of <br />Batesville, Arkansas, held a public hearing on June 1, 1982, upon <br />the application of Dorothy Dowzer, Marjorie Dowzer and Robert S. <br />Stroud for the zoning of the following described property: <br />A part of the SW, of SE14 of Section 16, Township 13 <br />North, Range 6 West, described thus: Commencing at <br />the Quarter Section corner between Sections 16 and <br />21 of said township and range; thence East a distance <br />of 118 feet, more or less, to the East R/W line of <br />Hwy #167, as presently located; thence along said <br />East R/W line North 1 degree East for 86.7 feet to <br />Point of Beginning; thence continue along said East <br />R/W line North 1 degree East a distance of 563.3 <br />feet to the South R/W line of Missouri Pacific <br />Railroad; thence following said R/W South 51 degrees <br />30 minutes East for 400 feet; thence South 36 <br />degrees 20 minutes East 207 feet to a point; thence <br />South 52 degrees 15 Minutes West for 224.5 feet to <br />a point; thence South 89 degrees West for 274.2 feet <br />to the Point of Beginning. <br />ALSO, a part of the SW' of SE of Section 16 and a <br />part of the NW, of NE, of Section 21, all in Township <br />13 North, Range 6 West, described thus: Commencing <br />at the Quarter Section corner between Sections lo' <br />and 2.1 of said township and range; thence East a <br />distance of 118 feet, more or less, to the East R/W <br />line of Hwy #167, as presently located, and the Point <br />of Beginning; thence along said East R/W line North <br />1 degree East for 86.7 feet to a point; thence North <br />89 degrees East for 274.2 feet to a point; thence <br />North 52 degrees 15 minutes East for 224.5 feet to <br />a point on the South R/W line of Lock and Dam No. 1 <br />Road; thence South36 degrees 20 minutes East along <br />said R/W line for 226 feet; thence South 47 degrees <br />10 Minutes West for 5772 feet; then South 2 degrees <br />West 512 feet, more or less, to the North bank of <br />White River; thence upstream along meanderings of <br />said river 184 feet, more or less, to the East R/W <br />line of H'vy #167 as presently located; thence North <br />and with said East R/W line for 815 feet, more or <br />less, to the Place of Beginning; and <br />'' WHEREAS, at said public hearing held after proper <br />publication of notice the Planning Commission found that the <br />application was proper in all respects and determined that the <br />j said property should be zoned C-2 commercial; and <br />WHEREAS, the said property was previously unzoned; <br />
