ORDINANCE NO. > /,, <br />AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING ZONING CLASSIFICATION <br />OF HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY SITUATED IN <br />THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS <br />WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of <br />Batesville, Arkansas, pursuant to law, has filed its recommenda- <br />tion with the City Council recommending that the following action <br />be made with the proposed designation of zoning classification of <br />the property owned by Dolph Pegg and Sylvia Pegg, his wife, which <br />property is described as follows: <br />TRACT I. A part of the Northwest Quarter of the <br />Northwest Quarter of Section 22, Township 13 <br />North, Range 6 West, described as follows: <br />Beginning at the Southwest Corner of said NW 1/4 <br />N1q 1/4, said Section, Township and Range; thence <br />East along the South line of said NW NW 1/4 <br />660 feet; thence North a distance of 165 feet to <br />a point; thence West 660 feet and parallel with <br />the South line of said NW -1/4 NW -1/4 to a point <br />on the West line of said NW -1/4 NW -1/4 a distance <br />of 165 feet North of the beginning point; thence <br />South a distance of 165 feet to the point of <br />beginning, containing 2-1/2 acres, more or less. <br />TRACT II. A part of the Northwest Quarter of the <br />Northwest Quarter of Section 221 Township 13 North, ' <br />Range 6 West, described as follows: Beginning <br />at the Southwest Corner of said Northwest Quarter <br />of the Northwest Quarter of said Section, Town- <br />ship and Range; thence North along the West line <br />of said Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter <br />1,540 links to the Southwest corner of the <br />Country Club property, being the point of begin- <br />ning of the tract herein conveyed; thence East <br />660 feet; thence South 851.4 feet to the North <br />line of the property conveyed by the grantors <br />herein to Charles Goff and Betty Goff, his wife, <br />on February 25, 19693 by deed recorded in Deed <br />Book J-9, at page 263; thence West 660 feet to the <br />West line of said Northwest Quarter of said <br />Northwest Quarter; thence North 851.4 feet, more <br />or less, to the point of b4 nning. <br />at same being designated as "R-1" Residential Zone and that <br />(said proposed designation is to the best interest of the City of <br />atesville; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the City Council of <br />he City of Batesville, Arkansas: <br />
