RECOMMENDATION OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS <br />TO: CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS <br />A special meeting of the City Planning Commission of <br />Batesville, Arkansas, was held on Tuesday, July 18, 1972, at <br />7:00 P.M., at the City Hall, Batesville, Arkansas. Notice of <br />the meeting was waived by all members of the City Planning <br />Commission and a quorum of the City Planning Commission was <br />present at this time. <br />The petition and amended petition of DOLPH PEGG and <br />SYLVIA PEGG for the classification and zoning of the following <br />described land: <br />Tract 1: A part of the Northwest Quarter of the <br />Northwest Quarter of Section 22, Township 13 <br />North, Range 6 West, described as follows: <br />Beginning at the Southwest corner of said <br />Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, <br />said Section, Township and Range; thence <br />East along the South line of said NW NW -1/4 <br />660 feet; thence North a distance of 165 feet to <br />a point; thence West 660 feet and parallel with the <br />South line of said NW -1/4 NW -1/4 to a point on the West <br />line of said NW -1/4 NW1/4 a distance of 165 feet north <br />of the beginning point; thence South a distance of 165 <br />feet to the point of beginning; containing 2-1/2 <br />acres, more or less. <br />Tract II: A part of the Norghwest quarter of the North <br />west Quarter of Section 22, Township 13 North, Range <br />6 West, described as follows: Beginning at the South- <br />west Corner of said northwest Quarter of the Northwest <br />Quarter of said Section, Township and Range; thence North <br />along the West line of said Northwest Quarter of the <br />Northwest Quarter 1.540 links to the Southwest corner <br />of the Country Club property, being the point of beginn <br />ing of the tract herein conveyed; thence East 660 feet; <br />Thence South 851.4 feet to the North line of the property <br />conveyed by the grantors herein to Charles Goff and <br />Betty Goff, his wife, on February 25, 1969, by deed <br />recorded in Deed Book J-9, at page 263; thence West <br />660 feet to the West line of said Northwest Quarter of <br />said Northwest Quarter; thence North 851.4 feet, more <br />or less, to the point of beginning. <br />was had and it was developed that proper notice of the hearing <br />had been given by publication in the Batesville Guard; that no <br />objections or exceptions to the petition were made; that the <br />propertyabove decribed is not zoned at the present time; and that <br />la proper zoning of this tract would be "R-1" residential zoning <br />
