ORDINANCE NO.C�O <br /> • AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE BATESVILLE ZONING DISTRICTS MAP; AND FOR <br /> OTHER PURPOSES. <br /> WHEREAS, the Batesville Housing Authority has secured funding for a multi-family housing <br /> facility to be located on Woodmont Circle;and, <br /> WHEREAS, said funding is predicated on the facility being properly zoned for such purpose; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS,only a portion of the property on which the facility is to be constructed is currently <br /> zoned in a manner to permit this use; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the Batesville Planning Commission has determined,after a public hearing on January 24, <br /> 2011,that the Batesville Comprehensive Plan should be amended to support high density residential <br /> development in this area; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the Batesville Planning Commission,after conducting a public hearing on February <br /> 7,2011,has voted to recommend that said property be rezoned from Commercial Community[C-1] to <br /> General Family Residential [R-2]. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> BATESVILLE,ARKANSAS THAT THE BATESVILLE ZONING DISTRICTS MAP IS HEREBY <br /> AMENDED TO DESIGNATE THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY AS GENERAL <br /> FAMILY RESIDENTIAL [R-2]: <br /> • A tract of land being part of the Southwest Quarter, Southwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 13 <br /> North, Range 6 West, in the City of Batesville, Independence County,Arkansas,more particularly <br /> described as follows: <br /> Commencing at the southwest comer of said Section 14,thence S 88 degrees 12 minutes 01 seconds <br /> East 331.96 feet to the east right-of-way line of Eagle Mountain Boulevard; thence North 04 degrees <br /> 37 minutes 19 seconds East along said east right-of-way line 457.32 feet to the south right-of-way line <br /> of Woodmont Circle;thence along said south right-of-way line along a curve to the right.
