INV i AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING CERTAIN DESCRIBED LANDS INTO THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS AND ASSIGNING SA14E INTO WARDS AND PRECINCTS WHEP.EAS certain .land owners petitioned the Independence County Coutt for annexation of their lands to the City of Batesville,; and, THHEREAS the Independence County Court duly authorized said annexation to the City of Batesville and entered its order on same after holding a hearing, and-, WHEREAS the time for appeal of said order has now elapsed. Now Therefore Be It Ordained By The City Council of Bate4- Iville, Arkansas, As Follows. 1. The following described lands be and. the same hereby' are accented for annex ation and hereby annexed by the City of Gatos- ville - Arkansas Beginning at a point on t .e left bank of C,?hite River which is the Southwest corner of certain property deeded to A. L. Crouch at deet. record U- 5 , page 533 of the Deed Records of Independence County (which Point would also be a prolongation of the Last side of Ramsey Street extended in a straight line to }dhite River) ; thence run. North along the t,Test line of said. A, L. Crouch tract to a point where the East line of R.a.msey Street intersects the South line of Southerlanc Drive; thence Easterly along the South line of Souther land Drive to the T^?est right of way line of U. S. Highway 167, thence North with the T%lest right of way line of U. S.
