F <br />0 <br />0 <br />ARTICLE IX <br />DISCHARGE OF LIEN <br />Snction 901. If the 61ty shall pay or cause to <br />be paid to the holders and owners of the bonus and coupons the <br />principal and interest to become due thereon at the times and in the <br />manner stipulated therein, and if the City shall keep, perform <br />and observe all and singular the covenants and promises in the bonds <br />and in this indenture expres3ed as to be kept, perforrind and observed <br />by it or on its part, t:,.en these presents and til-_ estate and rights <br />hereby granted shall cease, determine and be void, ani thereupon the <br />Trustee shall cancel and discharge the lien of this i* -lenture, and <br />execute and deliver to the MY such instruments in writing as <br />shall be requisite to satisfy the lien hereof, and re -convey to the <br />Cita �- the estate hereby conveyed, and assign and deliver to <br />the City any property at the time subject to the lien of <br />this Indenture which may then be in its possession, except cash held <br />by it for the payment of the principal of and interest on the bonds. <br />Bonds and coupons for the payment or redemption of which <br />moneys shall have been deposited with the Trustee (whether upon or <br />prior to the maturity or the redemption date of such bonds) shall be <br />deemed to be paid within the meaning of this Section; provided, how- <br />ever, that if such bonds are to be redeemed prior to the maturity <br />thereof, notice of such redemption shall have been duly given. <br />The cit,' may at any time surrender to the Trustee <br />for cancellation by it any bonds previously authenticated and de- <br />livered hereunder, together with any unpaid coupons thereto belonging, <br />which the City may have acquired in any manner whatsoever, <br />and such bonds and coupons, upon such surrender and cancellation, <br />shall be deemed to be paid and retired. <br />
