(>/,/ C X30 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ADOPTING A CITY PLAMNING CODE, AND FOR OTTER PURPOSES BE IT ORDAINED B1 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAT]LISVILLE, ARMNSAS: Section 1. The City of Batesville, Arkansas, hereby approves and adopts by reference the City Planning Code, which provides for land use, zoning and other related regulations, as more fully and specifically set forth in full in the following exhibits which constitute a_ part of this ordinance, to -wit: a. Zoning Map dated yjK (7/4 -7,J i G__' as certified by the Batesville Planning Commission t1 the City Council of Batesville by certification dated -7 u h Q '�, i 44i 5 �-s/. the same being incorporated herein and made a part of this ordinance as though ful- ly set forth word for word. Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation who uses, builds, constructs, alters or remodels a building, or uses land, in violation of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and punishable by a fine not to exceed $100.00 for each offense, and each day such violation shall be permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. Section 3. Three (3) copies of this ordinance, with exhibits, have been filed in the office of the City Clerk. Section 4. The provisions of this ordinance are hereby declared to be sever- able. If any section, paragraph, sentence or clause shall be held unconstitu- tioiial or invalid, such unconstitutionality or invalidity of such section, paragraph, sentence or clause, shall not affect the constitutionality or validity of the remainder of the ordinance. Section 5. This ordinance appearing necessary for the publis health, safety and welfare, an emergency is hereby declared to exist; and same shall be in full force and effect from and after passage and publicat' ) i/ Passed: / %- �( , 1961.
