M <br />en <br />Section 207. This Indenture is given in order to secure funds to pay <br />for new construction and by reason thereof, it .is intended that this Indenture <br />shall be superior to any laborers', mechanics' or materialmen's liens which <br />may be placed upon the Project. <br />Section 208. In case any bond issued hereunder shall become <br />mutilated or be destroyed or lost, the City shall, if not then prohibited by <br />law, cause to be executed and the Trustee may authenticate and deliver a new <br />bond of like date, number, maturity and tenor in exchange and substitution for <br />and upon cancellation of such mutilated bond and its interest coupons, or in <br />lieu of and in substitution for such bond and its coupons destroyed or lost, <br />upon the holder's or owner's paying the reasonable expenses and charges of <br />the City and the Trustee in connection therewith, and, in case of a bond <br />destroyed or lost, his filing with the Trustee evidence satisfactory to it that <br />such bond and coupons were destroyed or lost, and of his ownership thereof, <br />and furnishing the City and Trustee with indemnity satisfactory to them. The <br />Trustee is hereby authorized to authenticate any such new bond. In the event <br />any such bonds or coupons shall have mat,ired, instead of issuing a new bond <br />or coupon, the City may pay the same without the surrender thereof. <br />Section 209. Title to any bond, unless such bond is registered in <br />the manner herein provided, and to any interest coupon shall pass by delivery <br />in the same manner as a negotiable instrument payable to bearer. The City <br />shall cause books for the registration and for the transfer of the bonds as <br />provided in this Indenture to be kept by the Trustee as bond registrar. At the <br />option of the bearer, any bond may be registered as to principal alone on such <br />books, upon presentation thereof to the bond registrar, which shall make <br />notation of such registration thereon. Any bond registered as to principal may <br />thereafter be transferred only upon an assignment duly executed by the registered <br />owner or his attorney or legal representative in such form as shall be satisfactory <br />
