• (aa) Property or sales to all orphans' homes, or children's homes, which are not <br /> operated for profit and whether operated by a church, religious organization or other benevolent <br /> charitable association; <br /> (bb) Agricultural fertilizer, agricultural limestone, agricultural chemicals, and <br /> water purchased from a public surface-water delivery project to reduce or replace water used for <br /> in-ground irrigation or reduce dependence on ground water for agriculture. <br /> (cc) Sale of tickets or admissions, by municipalities and counties, to places of <br /> amusement, to athletic entertainment, recreational events, or fees for the privilege of having <br /> access to or the use of amusement, entertainment, athletic or recreational facilities, including free <br /> or complimentary passes, tickets, admissions, dues or fees; <br /> (dd) New and used farm machinery and equipment; <br /> (ee) New automobiles to a veteran of the United States Armed Services who is <br /> blind as a result of a service connected injury; <br /> (f1) Motor vehicles sold to municipalities, counties, school districts, and state <br /> supported colleges and universities; <br /> (gg) School buses sold to school districts and, in certain cases, to other <br /> purchasers providing school bus service to school districts; <br /> (hh) Catalysts, chemicals, reagents, and solutions which are consumed or used <br /> by manufacturing or processing plants or facilities in the State in producing, manufacturing, <br /> • fabricating, processing, or finishing articles of commerce or to prevent or reduce air or water <br /> pollution or contamination; <br /> (ii) Feedstuffs used in the commercial production of livestock or poultry; <br /> U) New custom manufactured homes constructed from materials on which <br /> the State sales tax has been paid; <br /> (kk) The first 500 kilowatt hours of electricity per month and the total franchise <br /> tax billed to each residential customer whose household income is less than$12,000 per year•, <br /> (ll) Electricity and natural gas to qualified steel manufacturers; <br /> (mm) Tangible personal property lawfully purchased with food stamps, food <br /> coupons, food instruments or vouchers in connection with certain Federal programs; <br /> (nn) Publications sold through regular subscriptions; <br /> (oo) Tickets for admission to athletic events and interscholastic activities of <br /> public and private elementary and secondary schools in the State and tickets for admission to <br /> athletic events at public and private colleges and universities in the State; <br /> (pp) Prescriptive adaptive medical equipment and prescriptive disposable <br /> medical equipment; <br /> (qq) Insulin and test strips for testing blood sugar levels in humans; <br /> • <br /> A-5 <br />
