MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> JUNE 11, 2018 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on June 11 at 5:30 pm at the <br /> Batesville Community Center, Meeting Room A. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh presided over <br /> the meeting. Utility Billing Supervisor Nick Baxter gave the invocation. Upon roll call, <br /> the following Councilmembers answered present; Tommy Bryant, Julie Hinkle, Margaret <br /> Henley, Paige Hubbard, Doug Matthews, Chris Poole and David Shetron. Also present <br /> were the City Clerk Denise Johnston and City Attorney Tim Meitzen. Councilmember <br /> Chris Beller was absent. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting. Councilmember Poole seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the prepared agenda. Councilmember <br /> Hubbard seconded and all voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> Police Chief Alan Cockrill addressed the council with monthly report for May, <br /> 2018. He also said his officers were gearing up for the July 4t" festivities. <br /> B) ENGINEER'S REPORT <br /> City Engineer Damon Johnson addressed the council with his monthly report. <br /> Mr. Johnson said there is a pre-construction meeting tomorrow for the White <br />
