RESOLUTION NO.C�013- C,?-O CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR CON RUCTION OF THE EAST MAIN STREET SOCCER COMPLEX CONCES ION STAND TO THE COMPANY SUBMITTING THE LOWEST I ID WHEREAS, there was submitted to the qualified elector of the City of Batesville, Arkansas at a special election held March 13, 2012, the question of the collection of a sales and use tax to pay and secure the repayment of bonds approved by the voters and issued by the City from time to time to finance capital improvements for park and recreational purposes, for public afety purposes, including particularly, without limitation, police and fire, and for st et purposes; WHEREAS, at the special election, a majority of the electors voting on the question approved the issuance of the bonds and the levy of a new s les and use tax; WHEREAS, the City of Batesville has advertised for bids in accordance with • Arkansas state law for a part of the project to construct the &st Main Soccer Complex Concession Stand for park and recreational purposes; WHEREAS, the bids received by the City were examin, beginning on March 21, 2013; and WHEREAS, StoneBridge Construction, LLC submitted he lowest bid, $272,000.00, and that bid has been reviewed by the City, and its engineering firm, ETC Engineers & Architects, Inc., and found to be in complia ce with the bid specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS: I THAT, the bid received from StoneBridge Construction, LLC should be and is hereby accepted. ADOPTED THIS 26`h DAY OF MARCH, 2013.
