ORDINANCE NO. -0-t <br /> AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE BATESVILLE ZONING DISTRICTS MAP; AND <br /> FOR OTHER PURPOSES. <br /> WHEREAS, the Batesville Planning Commission received a request to rezone part of <br /> Lot 1 and part of Lot 25 of the Timbers Subdivision; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Batesville Planning Commission conducted a properly advertised public <br /> hearing on February 6, 2023 to hear opinions about the proposed zoning revision; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Batesville Planning Commission, at its regular meeting on February 6, <br /> 2023, has determined that the proposed zoning revision is consistent with the Batesville <br /> Comprehensive Plan, as amended, and is in the best interest of the future development of the <br /> city; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the Batesville Planning Commission has recommended that the requested <br /> amendment to the Zoning Districts map be approved by the City Council. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF BATESVILLE,ARKANSAS: <br /> Section 1. The Batesville Zoning Districts Map is hereby amended from Single Family <br /> Residential (R-1) to Commercial Community District (C-1) for the parcels identified as <br /> 1104271000 and 1104292000 by the Independence County Assessors Office, the same being <br /> Part of Lot 1 and Lot 25, respectively. <br /> SECTION 2.
