ORDINANCE NO. — 7- v <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE PERPETUAL MAINTENANCE FUND FOR THE <br /> BATESVILLE COMMUNITY CENTER& AQUATICS PARK AND OUTDOOR TENNIS <br /> COURTS,LOCATED IN FITZHUGH PARK,AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Batesville desires to increase the amount of the perpetual <br /> maintenance fund established in September of 2017 for the maintenance of the Batesville Community <br /> Center&Aquatics Park(indoor and outdoor) and outdoor Tennis Courts, all located within Fitzhugh <br /> Park on 201h Street, in order to better sustain the quality of the facility and services which it provides <br /> to the City. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> BATESVILLE,ARKANSAS: <br /> Section 1: Amendment to the Amount of Funding from the City of Batesville Permanent One-Half <br /> (0.S%) Sales and Use Tax passed in 2012. That Section 2 of Batesville Municipal Ordinance <br /> Number 2017-09-01 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Funding From the City of Batesville Permanent One-Half Cent <br /> (0.5%) Sales and Use Tax passed in 2012 <br /> Each year,beginning in 2024 and continuing each year thereafter, the City Clerk shall <br /> transfer ONE-HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($100,000.00) from the collections of the <br /> Permanent One-Half Cent(0.5%) Sales and Use Tax passed in 2012 to"The Fund" or in such <br /> greater amount(s) as the City Council may direct. <br /> Section 2: Conflicts with other Ordinances. That any ordinances in conflict herewith are <br /> repealed to the extent of that conflict. <br /> Section 3: Severability.
