CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Whereas, the City of Batesville has previously created Entertainment Districts <br /> within the City, and <br /> Whereas, the Mayor of the City is authorized by Ordinance to temporarily <br /> change the times and dates of operation of said Entertainment Districts by <br /> Proclamation, and <br /> Whereas, the upcoming eclipse is a special opportunity, with numerous special <br /> events planned, for the promotion of business, tourism, as well as the general <br /> enjoyment of our citizens, and <br /> Whereas, Mainstreet Batesville has requested that the Entertainment Districts <br /> be times and dates be expanded temporarily to support this special event. <br /> NOW THEREFORE: It is hereby PROCLAIMED that the Entertainment District in <br /> Downtown Batesville, Arkansas is hereby activated and shall be operational on <br /> the following days from 10 a.m. until 12 a.m. (Midnight): <br /> April S, 2024; <br /> April 6, 2024; and <br /> April 7, 2024 <br /> Signed this day of 10%tA 2024. <br /> Ric ayor <br />
