Councilmember <br />Fredricks moved to suspend the rules and read the ordinance by title only. <br />Councilmember Bennett seconded and the electronic roll call count was 7 for and 0 <br />against. Mr. Meitzen read the ordinance by title only. Councilmember Bennett moved to <br />further suspend the rules and waive the second and third readings. Councilmember <br />Fredricks seconded and electronic roll call count was 7 for and 0 against. <br />Councilmember Poole moved to adopt the ordinance and Councilmember Roberts <br />seconded. The electronic roll call count was 7 for and 0 against. The ordinance was <br />given #2024-08-02. <br />I) FINANCIAL REPORT <br />The council was given a copy of the July, 2024 financials for review. <br />MAYOR COMMENTS <br />th <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh said the next scheduled meeting is August 27. The Mayor asked for <br />payment approval from the Community Center Maintenance Fund for pool furniture. <br />Councilmember Poole moved to approve the purchase. Councilmember Roberts seconded and <br />all voted for. <br />Mayor Elumbaugh reminded everyone that schools starts tomorrow, to be mindful of kids and <br />additional traffic. <br />LIAISON REPORTS <br /> None <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilmember Hubbard asked for an update of the progress of the new Main Street <br />Streetscape. Parks Director Owens said the original project completion date was mid- <br />December; however, they are ahead of schedule and hope to be completed before the <br />Halloween Parade. <br /> <br />
