<br />OF FINANCING AND REFINANCING ALL OR A PORTION OF THE COST OF <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS <br />Mr. Ryan Bowman with Friday, Eldridge & Clark and Mr. Paul Phillips with Crews <br />and Associates addressed the council to answer any questions regarding the <br />proposed ordinance before them. Councilmember Bennett introduced an <br />ordinance to authorizing the issuance of sales and use tax refunding and <br />improvement bonds for the purpose of financing and refinancing all or a portion <br />of the cost of capital improvements for the Batesville Parks and Recreation. <br />Councilmember Reeves moved to suspend the rules and read the ordinance by <br />title only. Councilmember Fredricks seconded and the electronic roll call count <br />was 8 for and 0 against. Mr. Meitzen read the ordinance by title only. <br />Councilmember Poole moved to further suspend the rules and waive the second <br />and third readings. Councilmember Hubbard seconded and the electronic roll <br />call count was 8 for and 0 against. Mr. Meitzen again read the ordinance by title <br />only. Councilmember Fredricks moved to adopt the ordinance. Councilmember <br />Bennett seconded and the electronic roll call count was 8 for and 0 against. The <br />ordinance was given #2024-01-06. Mr. Meitzen read the emergency clause. <br />Councilmember Pool moved to adopt the emergency clause and Councilmember <br />Bennett seconded. The electronic roll call count was 8 for and 0 against. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br /> <br />
