<br />Councilmember Hubbard moved to go into executive session to consider an <br />appointment to the Planning and Zoning Commission. Councilmember Bryant <br />seconded and all voted for. <br />Upon returning from executive session, Councilmember Bryant moved to appoint <br />Mr. Lacky Moody to the Planning and Zoning Commission. Councilmember <br />Poole seconded and all voted for. Mr. Bryant said he will replace Mr. Cord <br />Davidson who resigned his position which will expire June 10, 2024, however, <br />Mr. Bryant said Mr. Moody’s term will extend to June 10, 2028. <br />G) FINANCIAL REPORT <br />The council was given a copy of the February, 2023 financial report for review. <br />MAYOR COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh congratulated the Batesville Pioneer Swim for winning the <br />State 5A swim meet. He said he hopes to be able to bring them to the council for <br />recognition soon. <br /> The Mayor asked the council to look at their calendars to hold a retreat in April. <br />The retreat will be at Councilmember Tommy Bryant’s farm. The date decided on was <br />th <br />April 20 at 5:30 pm. <br />LIAISON REPORTS <br /> None <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />th <br />Councilmember Fredricks reported a street light out at 703 15 Street.
