<br />Councilmember Krug moved to re-appoint Ms. Amanda Roberts and Mr. Greg <br />Mohlke to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee. Councilmember <br />Bryant seconded and all voted for. Both appointments will expire September 30, <br />2027. <br />F) FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />The council was given a copy of the August, 2023 financial statement for their <br />review. <br />MAYOR COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh said he has a conflict with two upcoming council meetings. <br />th <br />The Mayor asked the council to cancel the September 26 meeting and both meeting in <br />th <br />October and have only one meeting in October on the 17. Councilmember Hinkle so <br />moved and Councilmember Fredricks seconded. All voted for. <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh told the council that the Soccer Field’s concession and <br />restroom building was totaled in last months storm. He said the Insurance Company <br />has accepted a bid from M & A Jones to take the building all the way down to the slab <br />and rebuild. The bid was $278,397.48. The Mayor said the City will be out $25,000.00 <br />for our insurance deductible. <br />LIAISON REPORTS <br /> None <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilmember Bryant read a prepared statement offering his resignation to his <br />position on the Batesville City Council. Mr. Bryant talked of many accomplishments that <br />he as witnessed in his nearly 15 years on the council. Mayor Elumbaugh accepted Mr. <br /> <br />
