• (15) Municipal boundaries that pass through or abut the subdivision. <br /> (e) Engineering analyses. <br /> (1) Typical street cross sections and profiles. At the option of the staff and where a street grade <br /> variance is being requested,the following information shall be provided: <br /> a. Street cross sections of all proposed streets at 100-foot stations as follows: On a line at <br /> right angles to the centerline of the street, and such elevation points shall be at the <br /> centerline of the street,each property line and points 25 feet inside each property line. <br /> b. Street profiles showing existing and proposed elevations along the centerlines of all roads <br /> drawn at a horizontal scale of one inch equals 100 feet to that allowed by the engineering <br /> needs. Where required, such profiles shall be prepared by an engineer registered to <br /> practice in the state. <br /> (2) Floodplain analysis. <br /> a. Where a portion of the land area included on a plat is suspected to be flood prone and that <br /> area is not covered by the flood insurance study prepared by the Federal Emergency <br /> Management Agency for the National Flood Insurance Program, or is not covered by <br /> available U.S. Army Corps of Engineers information, an engineering analysis shall be <br /> submitted.The analysis shall be submitted as part of the preliminary plat filing. <br /> • b. Such analysis shall be prepared by the engineer of record at the owner's expense. The <br /> analysis shall determine to the best of the engineer's ability a safe building line, and it <br /> shall be clearly and legibly drawn on the preliminary plat. <br /> (3) Soils test. Soils tests may be required, at the expense of the applicant, by the planning <br /> commission where it is suspected that soil conditions may affect structural or operational <br /> aspects of the facilities to be constructed. Such circumstances may include the stability of <br /> slopes, foundation conditions and potential hazards created by deep cuts and fills required for <br /> street or utility construction and similar situations. <br /> (f) Certificates,fees and bills of assurance. <br /> (1) Preliminary plat certificates. Each preliminary plat submitted to the planning commission <br /> shall carry the following certificates as appropriate: <br /> a. Surveying. <br /> CERTIFICATE OF PRELIMINARY SURVEYING ACCURACY <br /> I, hereby certify that this plat correctly represents a boundary <br /> survey made by me and all monuments shown hereon actually exist and their <br /> location,size,type and material are correctly shown. <br /> Signer <br /> Date of Execution Name <br /> Registered Land Surveyor No..Arkansas <br /> - 159 - Batesville Subdivision Regulations <br />
