ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE BATESVILLE ZONING DISTRICTS MAP; AND FOR <br />OTHER PURPOSES. <br />WHEREAS, an application was submitted to the Batesville Planning Commission for the <br />purposed of requesting an amendment to Zoning Districts Map for the below referenced property; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Batesville Planning Commission has conducted a properly advertised public <br />hearing on December 8, 2014; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Batesville Planning Commission has reviewed the relationship of this property <br />with the Comprehensive Plan; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Batesville Planning Commission has recommended that the requested <br />amendment to the Zoning Districts map be approved by the City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS THAT THE BATESVILLE ZONING DISTRICTS MAP IS <br />HEREBY AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: <br />From Single Family Residential (R-1) to General Family Residential (R-2); <br />A tract of land being part of Section 14, Township 13 North, Range 6 West, in the City of <br />Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows: <br />Commencing at the northwest corner of said Section 14; thence N 00°00'00" E, a distance of <br />1,628.44'; thence S 00000'0011E a distance of 1,442.11' to a point on the proposed east right <br />of way line of Dry Kiln Road extended, and the point of beginning; thence along said east <br />right of way line the following: N 20°03'45"E a distance of 16.56; along a curve to the left, <br />said curve having a radius of 358.55', an arc length of 49.92' and a long chord bearing and <br />distance of N 16°04'26" E, 49.88; N 12°05'07" E a distance of 255.22; along a curve to the <br />right, said curve having a radius of 265.63', an arc length of 90.5 P and a long chord bearing <br />and distance of N 21 °50'57" E, 90.07; thence N 31 °36'32" E a distance of 44.92' to the south <br />right of way line of a NORAM gas line easement; thence leaving said right of way line and <br />along said south line, S 52°34'26" E a distance of 880.29'; thence leaving said south line <br />S38006110" W a distance of 130.05'; thence N88°18'52" W a distance of 101.73; thence S <br />O1°41'08" W a distance of 136.83; thence N 70°58'43" a distance 395.83; thence N <br />52°25'57"W a distance of 339.36 to the point of beginning. <br />2.
