This resolution awards the <br /> contract for the child care facility funded by ADED to Oakwood Construction,Inc.,of Beebe,Arkansas. <br /> This contractor was the low bidder on the project. <br /> The contract award is $191,665 based on the following computation: <br /> Base Bid $219,400 <br /> Less: <br /> Deductive Alternate#1 (Sign) (1,400) <br /> Deductive Alternate#2 (Lettering) ( 420) <br /> Deductive Alternate#3 (Landscaping) (3,800) <br /> Negotiated Items: <br /> Parking Lot (12,965)* <br /> Substitute Rubber base ( 400) <br /> Substitute Split face block in lieu <br /> of face brick ( 5,200) <br /> Deduct brick columns ( 1,000) <br /> Foundation Changes ( 1,500) <br /> Deduct Mini-blinds ( 1,050) <br /> Total Deductions 27.735 <br /> Contract Award Amount $191,665 <br /> *To be provided by school district <br /> You have$170,000 available from ADED for construction. The Northcentral Arkansas Development <br /> Council (NADC)will be contributing$21,665 to the project;you should receive a commitment letter on <br /> these funds this week. We anticipate change orders after the project is awarded for other items;these <br /> items will be paid by either NADC or the Batesville School District.
