ORDINANCE NUMBER 2006-6-2 <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING 0.56 ACRES FROM 1-1 TO C-1 COMMERCIAL <br /> AT THE CORNER OF CHANEY DRIVE AND MYERS STREET REQUESTED <br /> BY FIRST SOUTHERN BANK. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. <br /> (1) The following property be and the same is hereby rezoned from 1-1 <br /> Industrial to C-1 Commercial. In accordance with the rezoning <br /> procedures as set forth in the Batesville Zoning Code the Batesville <br /> Planning Commission his recommended that this property be rezoned <br /> from 1-1 to C-1. <br /> (2) The property is described as thus: <br /> Legal Description: A tract of land being a part of the SW '/4, Section 16, T <br /> 13 N. R 6 W in the City of Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas, <br /> more particularly described as follows: Commencing at a point that is <br /> 111.46 feet East and 94.71 feet North of the southwest corner of said SW <br /> '/4, SE '/4, said point being on the east right of way line of said U.S. <br /> ® Highway No. 167; thence N 021 37' 49" W along said right of way line, <br /> 27.21 feet to the north right of way line of Myers Street as now located; <br /> thence N 890 33' 53" E along said north right of way line, 309.96 feet to the <br /> point of beginning; thence N 470 00' 00" E. 220.42 feet to the westerly right <br /> of way line of Chaney Drive; thence S 391 53' 19" E along said right of way <br /> line, 177.53 feet to the north and west right of way line of said Myers <br /> Street; thence S 360 39' 54" W along said north and west right of way, <br /> 43.88 feet; thence N 851 09' 05" W along said north right of way line of <br /> said Myers Street, 249.75 feet the point of beginning.
