E) CONSIDER A RESOLUTION TO LEASE 3 NEW DUMP TRUCKS WITH <br /> BANCORP SOUTH EQUIPMENT FINANCE <br /> Councilmember Bryant introduced a resolution for the lease-purchase of three <br /> new dump trucks for the utility department through BanCorpSouth Equipment <br /> Finance Company. Councilmember Bryant moved to read the resolution by title <br /> only and Councilmember Henley seconded. The roll call count was 8 for and 0 <br /> against. Mr. Castleberry read the resolution by title only. Councilmember Bryant <br /> moved to adopt the resolution and Councilmember Shetron seconded and the roll <br /> call count was 8 for and 0 against. The resolution was given #2015-04-01-R. <br /> F) CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE SMOKING, USE OF <br /> SMOKELESS TOBACCO AND E-CIGARETTES IN PARKS, CEMETERIES AND <br /> ALL OTHER FACILITIES OWNED BY THE CITY OF BATESVILLE <br /> Councilmember Henley introduced an ordinance that will regulate smoking, and <br /> the use of smokeless tobacco and E-Cigarettes in City Parks, Cemeteries and all <br /> other facilities owned by the City. Mr. Castleberry read the ordinance in full. After <br /> a short discussion, the Mayor said the ordinance will be placed on the next <br /> meeting's agenda for the second reading. <br /> G) CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE TO WAIVE COMPETITIVE BIDDING AND <br /> AUTHORIZE THE BATESVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO CONTRACT FOR <br /> INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY <br /> Councilmember Bryant introduced an ordinance to waive competitive bidding to <br /> implement Information Technology services at the new police station.
