MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> J U LY 29, 2014 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on July 29, at 5:30 P.M. at the <br /> Municipal Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh called the meeting to order. Utility Billing <br /> Supervisor Nick Baxter gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the following <br /> councilmembers answered present: Chris Beller, Tommy Bryant, Margarett Henley, <br /> Fred Krug and Doug Matthews. Also present were the City Attorney Lindsey <br /> Castleberry and City Clerk Denise Johnston. Councilmembers Hubbard, Poole and <br /> Shetron were absent. <br /> Councilmember Matthews moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting. Councilmember Bryant seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the prepared agenda. Councilmember <br /> Beller seconded and all voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) RECOGNIZE MS. JOY WILSON FOR HER YEARS OF SERVICE FOR THE CITY <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh said Dispatch Supervisor Ms. Joy Wilson had tendered her <br /> resignation due to health issues. Although Ms. Wilson was unable to attend <br /> tonight's meeting, the mayor read the plaque that will be given to her and he <br /> wished her well and a complete recovery. <br /> B) CONSIDER A RESOLTUION TO REVISE THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />
