RESOLUTION NO. 94- `1- ( <br /> BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO REQUEST A MINOR PERMIT <br /> MODIFICATION FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF POLLUTION CONTROL AND ECOLOGY <br /> TO REMOVE THE AUTHORITY TO ACCEPT WASTES OTHER THAN INCINERATOR <br /> ASH IN THE CITY'S EXISTING ASH MONO-FILL, SETTING A SCHEDULE FOR <br /> CLOSURE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Batesville, Arkansas, that <br /> the Mayor of the City of Batesville is authorized to request a <br /> minor modification to the City' s Class three ( 3 ) incineration ash <br /> mono-fill permit to permanently remove the authority to accept <br /> wastes other than incinerator ash in the disposal facility. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the closure of the existing <br /> Class 3 landfill is hereby scheduled to be concurrent with the <br /> permitting and opening of a new Class 3 ash mono-fill to be sited <br /> on a five (5 ) acre tract which currently has a permit application <br /> in process with the Arkansas Department of Pollution Control and <br /> Ecology. <br /> IT IS SO RESOLVED this .`�1: � day of April, 1994 <br /> H•NORABLE JIM BARNETT <br /> MAYOR <br /> ATTEST. <br /> DENISE JOHNSTON <br /> MUNICIPAL CLERK <br />
