Councilmember Shetron introduced an ordinance to annex the new Business <br /> Park which contains 46.70 acres of land located on White Drive. Councilmember <br /> Matthews moved to suspend the rules and read the ordinance by title only. <br /> Councilmember Beller seconded and the roll call count was 7 for and 0 against. <br /> Mr. Castleberry read the ordinance by title only. Councilmember Matthews <br /> moved to further suspend the rules and waive the second and third readings. <br /> Councilmember Shetron seconded and the roll call count was 7 for and 0 <br /> against. Councilmember Matthews moved to adopt the ordinance and <br /> Councilmember Bryant seconded. The roll call count was 7 for and 0 against. <br /> The ordinance was given #2014-04-03. <br /> E) EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Councilmember Shetron moved to go into executive session. Councilmember <br /> Bryant seconded and all voted for. <br /> Upon returning from executive session, Councilmember Bryant moved to appoint <br /> Mr. David Dame to the Housing Authority. Councilmember Matthews seconded <br /> and all voted for. Mr. Dame's term will expire May 27, 2018. <br /> F) ENGINEER'S REPORT <br /> City Engineer Damon Johnson addressed the council with his Engineer's Report. <br /> Mr. Johnson said the Utility Billing Office recently started accepting payments <br /> online. There is a $2.00 cost to use the service in order to cover the utilities <br /> expense to offer the service. Mr. Johnson gave an update on City departments <br /> and construction throughout the City. <br /> MAYOR COMMENTS <br />
