MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> MARCH 31, 2014 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in special session on March 31, at 6:00 PM at the <br /> Municipal Building. Mayor Elumbaugh called the meeting to order. Upon roll call, the <br /> following council answered present; Tommy Bryant, Margarett Henley, Paige Hubbard, <br /> Fred Krug, Douglas Matthews, Chris Poole, and David Shetron. Also present were the <br /> City Clerk and the City Attorney. Councilmember Chris Beller was absent. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the prepared agenda. Councilmember <br /> Shetron seconded and all voted for. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) CONSIDER A RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO A LEASE-PURCHASE <br /> AGREEMENT WITH BANCORPSOUTH FOR A 2014 FRONT LOAD <br /> SANITATION TRUCK <br /> Councilmember Matthews introduced a resolution to enter into a Lease-Purchase <br /> agreement with BancorpSouth for a 2014 Front Load Commercial Sanitation <br /> truck. Councilmember Matthews moved to read the resolution by title only. <br /> Councilmember Krug seconded and the roll call count was 7 for and 0 against. <br /> Mr. Castleberry read the resolution by title only. Councilmember Bryant moved <br /> to adopt the resolution and Councilmember Krug seconded. The roll call count <br /> was 7 for and 0 against. The resolution was given #2014-03-01-R. <br /> B) CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2013 BUDGET <br /> Councilmember Bryant introduced an ordinance to amend the 2013 budget. <br /> Councilmember Matthews moved to suspend the rules and read the ordinance <br />
