MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> SEPTEMBER 24, 2013 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on September 24, at 5:30 PM <br /> at the Municipal Building. Mayor Elumbaugh called the meeting to order. <br /> Councilmember Fred Krug gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the following council <br /> answered present; Tommy Bryant, Margarett Henley, Paige Hubbard, Davy Insell, Fred <br /> Krug, Douglas Matthews, Chris Poole, and David Shetron. Also present were the City <br /> Attorney Lindsey Castleberry and Jennifer Corter, Administrative Assistant. City Clerk <br /> Denise Johnston was absent. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting. Councilmember Insell seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Matthews moved to approve the prepared agenda. <br /> Councilmember Bryant seconded and all voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) CONSIDER A RESOLUTION TO CONDEMN PROPERTY AT 990 E. COLLEGE <br /> Councilmember Shetron introduced a resolution to condemn property at 990 E. <br /> College Street. Mayor Elumbaugh asked Code Enforcement officer Chad <br /> McClure to come forward to answer any questions. Attorney Scott Davidson <br /> spoke on behalf of Mr. and Mrs. Cox and discussed that this has been a very <br /> trying time for the Cox family and apologized for what their neighbors and the <br />
