MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> MARCH 24, 2013 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in special session on March 24, at 4:30 PM at the <br /> Municipal Building. Mayor Elumbaugh called the meeting to order. Upon roll call, the <br /> following council answered present; Tommy Bryant, Margarett Henley, Paige Hubbard, <br /> Davy Insell, Fred Krug, and Chris Poole. Also present were the City Clerk Denise <br /> Johnston and the City Attorney Lindsey Castleberry. Councilmember's Matthews and <br /> Shetron were absent. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) CONSIDER A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A LEASE AGREEMENT FOR NEW <br /> DUMP TRUCKS <br /> Councilmember Insell introduced a resolution to authorize the execution of an <br /> equipment lease-purchase agreement between the City of Batesville and <br /> BancorpSouth Bank for the purpose of leasing three 2013 dump trucks. <br /> Councilmember Henley moved to suspend the rules and read the resolution by <br /> title only. Councilmember Insell seconded and the roll call count was 6 for and 0 <br /> against. Mr. Castleberry read the resolution by title only. The Mayor said two of <br /> the dump trucks will be in the Utility Construction Department and one in the City <br /> Street Department. The purchase is to replace existing leases and is budgeted <br /> for. Councilmember Bryant moved to adopt the resolution and Councilmember <br /> Henley seconded. The roll call count was 6 for and 0 against. The resolution <br /> was given #2013-04-01-R. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br />
