Ms. Johnson said because of a tight time <br /> schedule, the committee regarding the Safe Routes to School Program decided <br /> to change the scope of the work to be around Central Magnet School. She said <br /> the committee is still working on applying for grants for other school areas. <br /> Councilmember Insell introduced the resolution and Mr. Castleberry read it in full. <br /> Councilmember Matthews moved to adopt and Councilmember Bryant <br /> seconded. The roll call count was 8 for and 0 against. The resolution was given <br /> #2013-02-01-R. <br /> C) CONSIDER A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE BATESVILLE COMPREHENSIVE <br /> PLAN TO EXTEND THE HISTORIC RESIDENTIAL CLASSIFICATION TO THE <br /> PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1211 E. BOSWELL <br /> Code Enforcement Officer Chad McClure addressed the council regarding the <br /> reclassification of the property located at 1211 E. Boswell. The property is <br /> currently zoned C-1 and for the past several years has been a real estate office. <br /> The owners of the property, John and Linda Bennett have requested the re-zone <br /> to allow the property to be in the Historic District. Mr. McClure said the re-zone <br /> will be conducive to the City's maps and a public hearing was conducted with no <br /> objections.
