MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> NOVEMBER 13, 2012 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on November 13, at 5:30 PM <br /> at the Municipal Building. Mayor Elumbaugh called the meeting to order. Utility Office <br /> Manager Nick Baxter gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the following council answered <br /> present; Tommy Bryant, Margarett Henley, Paige Hubbard, Davy Insell, Fred Krug, <br /> Douglas Matthews, Chris Poole, and David Shetron. Also present were the City Clerk <br /> and the City Attorney. <br /> Councilmember Shetron moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting. Councilmember Insell seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Henley moved to approve the prepared agenda. <br /> Councilmember Bryant seconded and all voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) SHERIFF'S MONTHLY REPORT <br /> Sheriff Steve Jeffery addressed the council with his department's monthly report. <br /> The Sheriff said he is asking for three new vehicles in next year's budget from <br /> both the City and the County. Mayor Elumbaugh said he had the request for the <br /> three cars in next year's budget to be paid for out of the '/2 cent sales tax. The <br /> Sheriff said if approved, he would like to order the cars as soon as possible. He <br /> said if ordered today, it would be at least March before the cars would be in. <br />
