MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> JULY 10, 2012 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on July 10, at 5:30 PM at the <br /> Municipal Building. Mayor Elumbaugh called the meeting to order. Councilmember <br /> Krug gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the following council answered present; <br /> Tommy Bryant, Margarett Henley, Paige Hubbard, Davy Insell, Fred Krug, Douglas <br /> Matthews, Chris Poole, and David Shetron. Also present were the City Clerk Denise <br /> Johnston and the City Attorney Lindsey Castleberry. <br /> Councilmember Shetron moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting. Councilmember Henley seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the prepared agenda. Councilmember <br /> Insell seconded and all voted for. <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) MONTHLY REPORT FROM INDEPENDENCE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br /> Sheriff Steve Jeffery said he or one of his deputies will be attending the first <br /> meeting of every month to give the council an activity report and answer any <br /> questions they might have. He reported that the 4t" of July activities went well <br /> with very few incidents of random fireworks which were banned county wide <br /> because of a burn ban. <br /> B) CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE TO ADOPT THE JULY 9, 2012 AMENDMENTS TO <br /> THE INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT <br />
