MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> JULY 31, 2012 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on July 31, at 6:05 PM at the <br /> Municipal Building. Mayor Elumbaugh called the meeting to order. Landscape <br /> Supervisor Johnathan Abbott gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the following council <br /> answered present; Tommy Bryant, Margarett Henley, Davy Insell, Fred Krug, Douglas <br /> Matthews, and Chris Poole. Also present were the City Clerk and the City Attorney. <br /> Councilmembers Paige Hubbard and David Shetron were absent. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting. Councilmember Henley seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Matthews moved to approve the prepared agenda. <br /> Councilmember Bryant seconded and all voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) MS. TAMI MEYER WITH AN UPDATE ON THE WHITE RIVER WATER <br /> CARNIVAL <br /> Ms. Tami Meyer, Tourism Director with the Chamber of Commerce, addressed <br /> the council and gave them a brief update on all the events planned for this year's <br /> White River Water Carnival. <br /> B) FIRE CHIEF BRENT GLEGHORN WITH THE 2ND QUARTER FIRE <br /> DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />
