Councilmember Bryant introduced an ordinance to re-zone certain property <br /> located on East Harrison Street from R-1 to C-1. Mr. Castleberry read the <br /> ordinance in full. Councilmember Bryant moved to suspend the rules and waive <br /> the second and third readings. Councilmember Insell seconded and the roll call <br /> count was 8 for and 0 against. Councilmember Bryant moved to adopt the <br /> ordinance and Councilmember Matthews seconded. The roll call count was 7 for <br /> and 0 against. The ordinance was given #2012-05-03 <br /> G) EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Councilmember Matthews moved to go into executive session. Councilmember <br /> Bryant seconded and all voted for. <br /> Upon returning from executive session, Councilmember Hubbard moved to re- <br /> appoint Ms. Patti Cash to the Housing Authority. Councilmember Bryant <br /> seconded and all voted for. Ms. Cash's term will expire 5/27/2017. <br /> H) REVIEW APRIL, 2012 PAID BILLS REPORT <br /> The council was given a copy of the April 2012 paid bill report. <br /> MAYOR COMMENTS <br /> The Mayor informed the council of a fixed asset disposal. The Fire Department <br /> scraped for parts a 1988 Ford C 8000 Fire Truck, Unit 606. <br /> LIAISON REPORTS <br /> Councilmember Matthews gave the council a brief update on the proposed <br /> project at the Airport. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />
