SPECIAL MEETING
MARCH 29, 2005
The Batesville City Council met in special session on March 29, at 9:30 AM at
the Municipal Building. Mayor Biard presided over the meeting. Upon roll call, the
following council answered present; Carpenter, Cooke, Krug, Matthews, Mynatt, Pectol
and Terrell. Councilmembers Terrell and Mitchum were absent.
Councilmember Pectol moved to approve the agenda and Councilmember
Matthews seconded. All voted for.
CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE FINANCING OF TWO
POLICE CARS
Councilmember Pectol introduced an ordinance that would authorize the
financing of two police cars with White River Planning and Development District, Inc.
Mayor Biard read the ordinance in full and Councilmember Matthews moved to suspend
the rules for the second and third readings. Councilmember Carpenter seconded and the
roll call was 6 for and 0 against. Councilmember Carpenter moved to adopt the
ordinance and Councilmember Mynatt seconded. The roll call count was 6 for and 0
against. The ordinance was given 42005-3-2.
There being no further business, Councilmember Pectol moved that the meeting
be adjourned and Councilmember Matthews seconded. All voted for.
