HomeMy WebLinkAbout2015-02-01 ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE BATESVILLE ZONING DISTRICTS MAP; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the Batesville Planning Commission is recommending that certain properties be re-zoned so as to align the zoning classification with the actual and proposed use of said properties; and, WHEREAS, the Batesville Planning Commission has reviewed the relationship of these properties with the Comprehensive Plan; and, WHEREAS, the Batesville Planning Commission has prepared recommendations to assign permanent zoning district classifications to said properties, and conducted a properly advertised public hearing on February 2, 2015. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSDAS THAT THE BATESVILLE ZONING DISTRICTS MAP IS HEREBY AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: From Multi-Family Residential (R-2) to Commercial Community (C-1). FOLLOWING PROPERTIES: Property located at the Maxfields 3d Eastern Addition, Block 3, Lot 5; and Maxfields 3`d Eastern Addition, Block 17, Lot 8. IF ANY PORTION OR PORTIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE ARE DEEMED OR HELD TO BE INVALID, SUCH INVALIDITY SHALL NOT EFFECT THE REMAINING PORTION OR PORTIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE. IT IS SO ORDAINED.
