RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE CERTIFYING
LOCAL GOVERNMENT ENDORSEMENT OF BATESVILLE-RAMADA INN, INC. , TO
PARTICIPATE IN THE ARKANSAS ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Batesville has an approved Zone designation for
enumeration district 1141 within the corporate limits of the City of
Batesville; and
WHEREAS, the local government must endorse a business or enterprise
to participate in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program and benefit
from the exemptions as provided in Part IV of the Arkansas Enterprise
Zone Program Regulations of 1983; and
WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made on specific form available
from AIDC; and
WHEREAS, Batesville-Ramada Inn, Inc. , has been determined by the
management of the enterprise zone appropriate applicants; and
WHEREAS, Batesville-Ramada Inn, Inc. , has agreed to furnish the
management of the enterprise zone all necessary information for
compliance.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
1. That Batesville-Ramada Inn, Inc. , be endorsed by the City of
Batesville for benefit from the exemptions as provided in Part IV of
the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of 1983.
2. That the Mayor be authorized to sign the Certificate of Local
Government Endorsement.
3. That this resolution shall take effect immediate y.
