ORDINANCE NO.
THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS
1k JRDiNANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY OF ZACHARY F. MOBLEY AND FREEMAN K.
MOBLEY FROM C-2 (COMMERCIAL) TO K-1 (RESIDENTIAL).
(1) The following city property be and the Same hereby i5 rezoned from C-2 Commercial to K-1
KeSidential; 5aid property presently owned by Zachary F. Mobley and Freeman K. Mobley and 5aid
owners were the petitioners for 5aid zoning cla55ification change.
(2)The property i5 de5cribed thus:
A tract of land being a part of the NE1/4 of 5ection 14, T 13 N. K 6 W in the City of
Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas, more particularly described ao follows:
commencing at the northwest corner of the of said 5ection 14;
thence East along the north line of said 5ection 14, 1280.00 feet to the point of beginning;
thence N24130'00"E, 117.30 feet;
thence 523045'44"E, 468.18 feet;
thence 501112'43"W, 33.34 feet;
thence N65030'00"W 362.54 feet
thence N24030'00"E, 225.00 feet to the point of beginning.
containing 1.50 acres, more or less.
(3) The present owners have determined that the property i5 more appropriate for re5idential
use, and that 5aid rezoning would be in keeping with the prevailing development of the area.
Therefore, be it ordained that the property in item 1 be rezoned K-1 Residential from C-2
Commercial; that this ordinance 5hould be published for one insertion in a newspaper of general
c' elation in Batesville, Arkansas.
