AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER 99-5-1
FOR THE PURPOSE OF CANCELING A SPECIAL ELECTION
ON ANNEXATION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Batesville, Arkansas;
SECTION 1. The Batesville City Council adopted Ordinance Number 99-5-1 on May
25, 1999, calling for a special election on October 12, 1999, which proposed to annex
certain lands contiguous to the City of Batesville.
SECTION 2. It is determined that further study would be in the best interest of all
citizens.
SECTION 3. Therefore, ordinance Number 99-5-1 is hereby repealed.
ADOPTED this 28th day of May, 1999.
