• ORDINANCE NO. q7-10-1
AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY OF MARION THOMPSON
FROM R-2 RESIDENTIAL TO C-2 COMMERCIAL;DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY AND OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS AS
FOLLOWS:
(1)The following city property be and the same hereby is rezoned from R-2 Residential
to C-2 Commercial; said property presently owned by Marion Thompson was the
petitioner for the said zoning classification change.
(2)That the property is described as thus: Legal description of land: Lots 010, 011, and
012 of Block 058 of the Maxfields 3rd Eastern Addition. Also known as 2445 and 2475
Byers Street, all located in the corporate limits of the City of Batesville, Arkansas.
IL (3)It is hereby found and declared that an emergency exists and that this ordinance being
necessary for the public welfare, it shall be in full force and effect from the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS TWELTH DAY OF OCTOBER 1999.
