HomeMy WebLinkAbout1999-12-01 ORDINANCE NO. 99-12-1 • AN ORDINANCE RE-ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY OF WHITE RIVER CHIROPRACTIC LIFE CENTER FROM C-2 COMMERCIAL TO C-3 COMMERCIAL; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND OTHER PURPOSES BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS AS FOLLOWS: (1) The following city property be and the same hereby is rezoned from C-2 Commercial to C-3 Commercial; said property presently owned by White Rive Chiropractic Life Center was the petitioner for the said zoning classification change. (2) That the property is described as thus: Legal Description of land: TRACT TWENTY-TWO (22): A tract of land being a part of the Southwest Quarter of Section Thirteen (13) in Township Thirteen (13) North and Range Six (6) West and a part of Block One (1) of Wolford's Quail valley East Subdivision in the City of Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas more particularly described as follows: beginning at a point that is 1639.73 feet North and 1697.63 feet West of the southeast corner of said SW 1/4 thence N 72 degrees 21 minutes W a . distance of 306.56 feet; thence N 04 degrees 02 minutes 55 seconds E a distance of 288.41 feet to the south right of way line of Harrison Street; thence S 76 degrees 48 minutes 38 seconds E along said south right of way line a distance of 229.19 feet; thence along said south right of way line and along a curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 995.45 feet, a distance of 93.01 feet; thence S 07 degrees 49 minutes 27 seconds W a distance of 314.25 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 2.13 acres, more or less. Subject to a 17.5 feet Arkla Gas Company easement across the southern part of the property. (3) It is hereby found and declared that an emergency exists and that this ordinance being necessary for the public welfare, it shall be in full force and effect from the date of its passage.
