ORDINANCE NO. 2000-
AN ORDINANCE RE-ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY OF LARRY
COLEMAN FROM RESIDENTIAL R-1 TO COMMERCIAL C-2;
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE,
ARKANSAS,AS FOLLOWS:
(1) The following city property be and the same hereby is re-zoned from
Residential R-1 to Commercial C-2; said property presently owned by Larry Coleman
and said owner is the Petitioner for said zoning classification change.
(2) That the property is described thus:
Beginning at the Southwest Comer of Lot Twenty-nine (29) of
Block Six (6) of Annex No. One (1)to Wolford's Addition to the
City of Batesville, Arkansas, thence South 83 degrees 22 minutes
East 157 feet along the South boundary line of Lot Twenty-nine
(29)to the Southeast Comer of Lot Twenty-nine (29),thence
South 83 degrees 22 minutes Eat 31.6 feet across a never
developed street right of way to a point, thence North 2 degrees 15
minutes West 180 feet more or less to a point, said point being 30
feet bearing North 87 degrees 28 minutes East of a point located
• 35.0 feet North of the Northeast Corner of Lot Twenty-nine (29)
on a bearing of North 2 degrees 15 minutes West,thence in a
Southwesterly direction to the Point of Beginning.
(3) It is hereby found and declared that an emergency exists and that this
ordinance, being necessary for the public welfare, shall be in full force and effect from
the date of its passage.
