AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2000 BUDGET ADOPTED DECEMBER 14,
1999, PERTAINING TO REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES IN CERTAIN
FUNDS AND CLASSIFICATIONS SET OUT HEREIN: AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE,
ARKANSAS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1; Expenditures for General Fund are amended as follows:

1 550-51-614 LAW ENFORCEMENTS EXPENSES $4,376.96
TOTAL EXPENDITURES INCREASE $4,376.96
Section 2: All funds and classifications not listed herein are unchanged from
Budget adopted December 14, 1999.

August 1 of each year, commencing August 1 , 2001, shall be numbered
consecutively from 1 upward in order of issuance, and shall be in
the denomination of $5 , 000 or an integral multiple thereof . The
Series 2001 Bonds shall mature (on February 1) and bear interest as
follows :

The Series 2001 Bonds shall be registered as to principal
and interest . Principal is payable at The Citizens Bank in
Batesville, Arkansas (the "Trustee" and "Paying Agent" ) . Payment
of interest shall be by check or draft mailed to the registered
owner at the address shown on the registration book of the City
maintained by the Trustee . Bonds issued prior to the first
interest payment date shall bear interest from April 1, 2001 . The
