ORDINANCE NO. 91-,5" 1
AN ORDINANCE VACATING CERTAIN STREETS IN WOLFORD'S QUAIL VALLEY EAST
SUBDIVISION TO THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, there are certain platted but unopened streets in Wolford's
Quail Valley East Subdivision to the City of Batesville, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, the owners of the land abutting those streets desire that they
be vacated so that certain lots and blocks of said subdivision may be replatted;
and,
WHEREAS, the owners of all property affected by such action have agreed
and consented to the vacation of such streets and parts thereof, be it there-
fore:
ORDAINED, that the following unplatted streets and parts of streets
in Wolford' s Quail Valley East Subdivision to the City of Batesville, Arkansas,
should be vacated:
1. All of Mockingbird Street lying East of West Quail Valley Drive,
except that part having been replatted and recorded on January 30,
1981, in Plat Book G, Pages 434-435 o the Independence County
Records;
2. All of Lark Street; and,
3. All that part of East Quail Valley Drive lying East of Block 13
in Wolford' s Quail Valley East Subdivision to the City of
Batesville, Arkansas.
PASSED and APPROVED this day of May, 1991.

are not necessary for public interest and welfare.

RE:
PETITION
The undersigned, for their Petition, state:
1. That they are the owners of all property abutting
upon the following-described unplatted streets and parts of
streets in Wolford' s Quail Valley East Subdivision to the City ofd
Batesville, Arkansas:
All of Mockingbird Street lying East of West
Quail Valley Drive, except that part having
been replatted and recorded on January 30,
1981, in Plat Book G, Pages 434-435 of the
Independence County Records.
QAll of Lark Street.
All that part of East Quail Valley Drive
lying East of Block 5 and Block 14 , and West
of Block 13 in Wolford's Quail Valley East
Subdivision to the City of Batesville,
Arkansas.
2 . That a photostatic copy of the portion of the plat
filed in the office of the County Recorder which shows the
streets and parts of streets to be vacated is attached hereto.
3 . That the City Council should, by resolution at its
next meeting, fix a day for the hearing of this petition in order
that notice may be given of the meeting by publication in
accordance with the laws of the State of Arkansas.
4 . That upon such hearing, the City Council should
adopt an ordinance vacating the streets and parts of streets
described herein for the reason that the streets have not been

As owner(s) of Lot One (1) of Block Thirteen (13) in Wolford's Quail Valley East
Subdivision in the City of Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas, I (we) approve
the vacating of East Quail Valley Drive that is adjacent to my (our) property on the
west side.
I (we) understand that in agreeing to this that I (we) will become the owner.(s) of.
the east twenty-five (25) feet of that part of said East Quail Valley Drive adjoining
Lot One (1) in Block Thirteen (13) of said Quail Valley East Subdivision.
I (we) further stipulate that the preparation and recording of all documents will be
done at no expense to me (us) .
