ORDINANCE NO.q 9 2—91
BEFORE THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF TURKEY RUN ROAD TO THUNDERBIRD
DRIVE IN BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, there is a regularly used and platted street known
as Turkey Run Road in the City of Batesville, Arkansas and the
residents and land owners abutting Turkey Run Road desire to
change the name of said street; and
WHEREAS, Section 9 .32 .01 of the Batesville Municipal Code
empowers the City Council of Batesville, Arkansas to change the
name of a street under these circumstances; now
BE IT THEREFORE CONSIDERED AND ORDAINED:
1 . That the street known as Turkey Run Road situated in
Batesville, Arkansas shall hereafter be known as Thunderbird
Drive.
2 . That the new name, Thunderbird Drive, does not
duplicate or closely approximate any publicway name already
assigned.
3 . That the land owners adjoining said street have
proposed and consented to changing the name of that street.
4 . That pursuant to the provisions of Section 9 .32 .01 of
the Batesville Municipal Code, the City Clerk is directed to
change the name of Turkey Run Road to Thunderbird Drive on the
"Street Names Map of Batesville , Arkansas" dated March 7 , 1961 as
t7 certified and filed by the Batesville City Planning Commission.

the foregoing pages are a true and correct copy of Ordinance No. 91-1 1-2 , passed
at a Regular session held at the regular meeting place of the Council of
the City at 7 :00 o'clock p.m., on the 12th day of November
19 91, and the Ordinance is of record in Ordinance Record Book E now in
my possession.
