AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 749
CHAPTER 4 . 24 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , Ordinance #749 and Chapter 4 . 24 of the Municipal
Code of the City of Batesville should be amended, now;
BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED:
1 . That paragraph 4 . 24 . 05 ( a) should be amended as follows :
The owner shall furnish and keep said liability
insurance in full force and effect during the term in
at least the minimum amounts required under Arkansas
Law.
2 . That paragraph 4 . 24 .07 (c) which reads as follows :
( c) Service shall be provided twenty-four
hours a day , seven days a week.
should be deleted.
3 . Invalidation of any one or more parts of this Ordinance
by judgment or court order shall in no way affect any of the
other provisions which shall remain in full force and effect .
4 . It is hereby declared that an emergency exists in this
Ordinance , being necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public peace, health, safety and welfare of the citizens of
Batesville, Arkansas , shall take effect and be enforced from and
after its passage .
