AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY
IN THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE,
ARKANSAS, AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the following-described tract of land is
currently zoned C-2 ; and
WHEREAS, the Batesville Planning Commission has
recommended that the said tract described below be zoned R-2 .
NOW, THEREFORE, the following tract of land should, and
hereby is zoned R-2 :
A tract of land being a part of the Southwest
Quarter of Section Thirteen (13) in Township
Thirteen (13) North and Range Six (6) West
and a part of Block One (1) of Wolford' s
Ir Quail Valley East Subdivision in the City of
Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas,
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point that is 1389 . 73 feet
North and 1844 . 03 feet West of the Southeast
corner of said SW4, said point also being on
the North right-of-way line of Mockingbird
Street; thence N 590 38 ' 48" W along said
North right-of-way line a distance of 189 . 17
feet; thence N 040 02 ' 55" E a distance of
247 . 96 feet; thence S 72021 ' E a distance of
306. 56 feet; thence S 30021112" W a distance
of 289 . 70 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing 1. 48 acres, more or less.
