AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY
IN THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE,
ARKANSAS, AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the following-described tract of land is
currently zoned R-1; and
WHEREAS, the Batesville Planning Commission has
recommended that the said tract described below be zoned C-2 .
NOW, THEREFORE, the following tract of land should, and
hereby is zoned C-2 :
A part of the SW-14 of the NE-, of Section 13 ,
T-13-N, R-06-W of the Fifth Principal
Meridian, Independence County, Arkansas, more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of the SW4
of the NE4 of Section 13 , T-13-N, R-06-W;
thence North 87 degrees 42 minutes 22 seconds
East 359 . 08 feet to the point of beginning;
thence North 00 degrees 44 minutes 00 seconds
East 288 . 62 feet to a found iron pin; thence
North 74 degrees 55 minutes 01 seconds East
200 . 76 feet to a point in a double 12 inch
cedar tree; thence along an existing wire
fence run South 10 degrees 01 minutes 55
seconds East 209 . 77 feet to a point; thence
South 05 degrees 26 minutes 11 seconds East
230. 37 feet to a point; thence along the
North right-of-way line of Arkansas Highway
Number 69 run South 88 degrees 54 minutes 00
seconds West 257 . 23 feet to the point of
beginning. This tract contains 2 . 15 acres,
more or less, and is subject to an apparent
easement for overhead utility lines and may
be subject to other non-apparent easement or
rights-of-way.
